Research activities

NoE currently coordinates two pilot research projects and is developing its joint research programme.

Pilot projects

NoE participants implement pilot joint research projects that don't have commercial tasks and are accomplished on a voluntary basis. Currently two pilots are being run: «Foundations of Fairness» and «STROI-network».

Foundations of Fairness

«Foundations of Fairness» is international project that unites researchers from 20+ countries. The purpose is to study the role of fairness in interfirm relationships. The project initiator and head is Prof. Lisa K. Scheer, Univ. of Missouri.

In Russia the project is implemented by researchers from Barnaul, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Syktyvkar. The Russian part of the project is coordinated by Moscow-based State University - Higher School of Economics.

STROI-network

«STROI-network» – is Finnish-Russian research project jointly implemented by teams in 5 institutions: HAMK, TUT, VTT, GSOM SPbSU and SU-HSE. The task is to develop tools for managing international networks in Russian construction industry.
